POOR LISA!!! TAKE TWO

Judging from the sullen, glowering expression she normally wears, when she thinks no one is paying attention, smiling doesn't come easy to Lisa Iacuzzi. It was with a certain sadness, therefore, that blogsters at NAGQ-OAE learned that the ineffable Ms. Iacuzzi, Our Lisa, blogged in her Friday, 20th June entry “Don'T SHow Pain” (http://notagoodqueer.blogspot.com/2008/06/dont-show-pain.html) about the pain she was feeling, and her struggle to mask it with a smile.

Lisa writes:

Just being convicted of my first crime in my life, I show little pain. I try to keep a smile on my face. Has it been painful. Only my closest friends have seen it and I put on a smile on for most of my days.

Putting aside doubts that Lisa has any real friends, close or otherwise, this must arouse sympathy. But what's troubling Lisa trouble now? Hasn't Lisa achieved a “win” over one of the two charitable non-profits against whom she claims to have filed “lawsuits”? Are the “$1,000,000 settlement” and “$300,000 settlement”, over which she has cackled in (and out) of her blog, no longer in the offering? Has she not made herself into the “legend” she has styled herself on her blog? Weighed against this fortune and glory, surely Lisa can't be pained by some conviction over one of her recent misdemeanors.

I do go to bed at night and think that the hate mob now has some validation of me being convicted so they might now leave me alone.
Since getting out of jail, the hate mob continued to stalk me where I was gay bashed. I did not make a police report about it.

Well, so, there's nothing to report on that score. No member of Lisa's imaginary “hate mob” has ever reciprocated the amount of interest in Lisa as Lisa has devoted to that “hate mob”, in all its various incarnations.

But at least we now have some clue as to the root of Lisa's latest sufferings. After reveling in her starring role in two articles from an out-of-state blogster, a couple of puff pieces in the Portland Mercury, even a few lines in the staid Oregonian – all by writers who know Lisa only from what she has told them – Lisa must now confront an actual chunk of the reality she has created for herself. To one who spends a disturbing amount of time in her self-created fantasy world, the necessity of facing up to the results of her actions must indeed cause Lisa some pain.

(NAGQ-OAE deals with Lisa's cameo in the Oregonian article elsewhere. The larger context was the homeless sit-in downtown last April-May, and Lisa's latest “activism” on behalf of the homeless. A curious venue for Lisa's soi-disant “activism”, not to mention surprising to those who know her, when one considers her physical assault on a crippled homeless man last winter, and her more recent theft of another homeless man's sleeping bag and his staked out sleeping place – not to mention the fact that there seems to be no prospect of money for Lisa.)

I just left town for awhile. They called my family in New Jersey and said that I was arrested. When I called my sister, she could not stop crying, she said that she was crying all week. I told her that I was in Eugene and the hate mob could not come after me so please stop crying.

Histrionics aside, along with the usual shuffling of blame, it's odd how Lisa's “hate mob” tends to undergo various and sundry metamorphoses from time to time. In its previous incarnations, Lisa has described her “hate mob”, roughly in order of appearance, as:

a) A gang of gay women “who have attacked me and come after me”
b) A gang of “predominantly African American women”
c) A gang of “African American women who are bible thumpers” led by a “convicted felon”
d) A “ruthless gang” of African American women, led by Portland Impact, which held classes to “sell their welfare cards for cash” for “getting drug money”
e) A gang of “twenty-people involved in a fraud of food stamps”
f) A “lynching hate mob”
g) A “lynch mob of a twenty dedicated to hate”
h) “A homphobic gang”, a “hate mob”, a “lynching mob”
i) “Math” heads
j) The Sheriff of Multnomah County, the Portland Police, and the DA's office, all of whom have “a reputation for hating trans people like me.”

Between d) and e) above, Lisa shifted her emphasis rather quickly, and dropped the “ruthless, bible-thumping drug-dealing African American gang” from her hate mob. This occurred soon after NAGQ-OAE made reference to the complaint on file with the NAACP for Lisa's racist hate speech and actions against her African American neighbors. One might say that Lisa's “hate mob” thereafter changed its complexion.

One might also hope that Lisa learned an important lesson, namely, that it is not nice to bang on the doors of disabled, retired African American college teachers, then run away after yelling “Nigger! Nigger! Nigger!” (and destroy their cable TV); or to greet nine-year-old African American girls, out for a walk with their grandmothers, with the phrase: “All you nigger bitches do drugs.” In view of the foregoing, the “I love black people!” articles Lisa hurriedly slung on her blog, with some sort of apologia pro sua vita, fooled no one. Lisa's contrived apologia also indicates that, sadly, she learned no lesson, but at least she may have learned not to give vent to her penchant for racist hate speech.

Meyers did come into my hang out and asked questions about me. This is Meyers who the DA knows is a homphobe.

Clearly, this can't be the same Meyers whom her friends know is bisexual. What neither the DA's office, nor the friends of Meyers, nor Meyers herself know, but would dearly love to know, is how a woman who has never been shy about her bisexuality can be a “homphobe”. This is something only Lisa herself knows, and Lisa can't, or won't, explain.

Another thing Lisa doesn't explain is why almost everyone with whom she has provoked an altercation is a “homphobe”. The gay and bi- women who were the first, and remained chief, among the targets of Lisa's abuse throughout her seven-month (free) stay at The Rose apartments, were “homphobes”. The gay woman who led the ruthless, bible-thumping over-the-hill African American gang at the Rose was another “homphobe”. Soo, too, the “homphobic” hate mob at the Rose.

Not to worry, though. As with the Ruthless Over the Hill Gang of Bible Thumping African American Grandmothers, so too with the “homphobic” hate mob. Upon her realisation – again, courtesy of NAGQ-OAE -- that the majority of the “hate mob” are lesbians, or at least bisexual women, Lisa effected another rapid backpeddle and volte-face, and blogged some wonky self-exculpatory convolution as to why these women, her former neighbors, loathe her.

Racial origins and sexual preferences aside, it's odd that Lisa has never included amongst the members of her “hate mob” anyone from the Portland International Hostel, where she once worked. If anything, it seems that some of the employee there loathe her even more than her former neighbors. She also seems to have forgotten that the staff of the alternative school where she once worked, and which fired her, described her as “a disgruntled ex-employee with an axe to grind,” and “a self-serving manipulator.”

The DA knows that REACH CDC lied for Meyers to get a stalking order on me.

Unless Lisa works for the DA's office, this can be dismissed as Lisa's usual pie-in-the-sky whyfore.

The DA office in Portland has a reputation of hating trans folks.
When Meyers violated the stalking order, the DA did not press chargers.

Ah, so now it's hatred for “trans folks” which, along with homophobia, is the root cause for the negative emotion Lisa excites. Surely it can't be due to anything Lisa has said or done, since she is ever the innocent little lamb and sacrificial victim on the altar of irrational hate.

To save Lisa the time of writing them out -- and the trauma of having to produce intelligible written English – NAGQ-OAE offers the following excuses for Lisa to cut and paste on her blog:

* “The DA's office is persecuting me because all the DAs and their staff are 'homphobes' and HATE trans folks!”
* “Anyone who saw me yell 'All you nigger bitches do drugs!” at a little African American girl and her grandmother is LYING because they're 'homphobes' and HATE trans folks!”
* “Witnesses who saw me hitting and kicking and spitting on police when I was arrested, because I hit, kicked, and spit on police while they were arresting me, are LYING because they're 'homphobes' and they HATE trans folks!”
* “The cameras which recorded my repeated physical assaults on a crippled homeless man is LYING because that camera is a 'homphobe' and HATES trans folks!”

If the DA's office has a rep for “hating trans folks”, it's not as well known as its habit of not taking too seriously baseless and repetitious accusations made by, to put it kindly, self-serving manipulators with a number of axes to grind.

Showing pain channels energy away from surviving and gives the hate mob validation and joy that they are causing pain.
Welcome to the city of Portland, Oregon.

Contrary to Lisa's imaginings, no joy is felt by anyone who was a victim of Lisa Iacuzzi's hateful, hurtful antics – not by the gay women whom Lisa targeted for abuse, nor by her African American victims or anyone else. If Lisa wants to discover the real “hate mob”, she need only look in her mirror. But she won't.

We still rise, we will not apologize for anything!

This has ever been Lisa's problem, or rather one of them. If only Lisa would exert herself to transform and rechannel the energy she expends on vicious, troublemaking antics, and begin making something useful of her potential, rather than projecting and transferring her self-hatred onto others, she might find that most of her problems would dissipate – and so would her “hate mob”. She wouldn't even have to apologize.

But she can't, or won't.

Not a Good Queer on Blog Spot!

Not a Good Queer Back in the County Jail is what it may be, after Lisa is sentenced on 11th July.

Still, we at NAGQ-OAE cannot help but sadness for whatever pain Lisa's actions have brought her, as well as a crawling sort of pity for her. It must be difficult to become aware, even so late as middle age, of the effects of one's karma, or, as the Aristotlean concept puts it, of one's chickens coming home to roost – and shy away from looking it in the face. Hinc illae lacrimae.

The shiva visit:
So sorry about your loss.
Now back to my problems.

Not A Good Queer—Or Anything Else
We still rise! (despite morning inclinations to stay in bed)

Happy 45th, Lisa!

Lisa has a real thing for this Myers person. Were they lovers or something?
